Domiciliary Optical Assistant - Belfast Region

Role: Domiciliary Optical Assistant 2 days home based doing office administration and 3 days in the community

Area: North West Region, a great base would be someone from near or living in Derry, Belfast or Portrush

Status: Permanent role, Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm (flexibility required)

Salary and benefits    Salary: Between £19k and £21k and a generous car allowance

 

You must be a confident driver and have a full and clean driving licence.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated, hardworking, friendly and reliable Optical Assistant in the West of Northern Ireland area to join our expanding domiciliary team in Specsavers Home Visits.

 

As a Domiciliary Optical Assistant, you’ll ensure the delivery of a high, quality professional services to patients in their own homes and in some care home settings.  You must have high standards of dispensing and customer care, in short, you’ll make sure every customer gets has a great experience with us.  In addition to this you must understand the sale aspect of the role partnered with strong dispensing skills.  If you do not have dispensing skills but have worked in optics, please still apply as we would love to train the right candidate.  We also need someone who likes a varied role as this position requires the successful candidate to work 2 days from home doing NHS submissions and booking clinics to name but a few duties.
