Job description

We are searching for a qualified Optometrist to join our friendly practice team based in Alton. This is a part-time, fixed-term position. This is an alternating 2 week rota where week 1 involves working Tues, Wed, Thurs & Sat and week 2 being Tues, Wed, Fri and Sat.

The role

Our Optometrists are an integral part of our team, providing our customers with top tier treatment removing the inconvenience from eye examinations, evolving it into an informative, consultative and pleasant experience. Core responsibilities will include;

Perform sight tests, offering the best clinical and technical adviceProvide visual field and retinal imaging assessmentsConsult with patients regarding their eye health, providing expert guidance on preventative measures alongside ways they can maintain their current conditionAssist the branch manager in tracking and monitoring branch performanceEnsure all equipment is correctly maintained and fit for purpose
