Dispensing Optician / Optical Assistant J204551

This is an opportunity to join a highly successful Opticians who pride themselves on their patient centred approach. Seeking a Dispensing Optician or Optical Assistant for a full time role.

This is a Multi site role with a well-established optician who have a growing client list and state of the art facilities. Holding positive, attentive service and client interaction in high regard as well as working to promote a pleasant work environment.

Key Duties

• Working hours 9:00 - 5:30pm with a 1 hour lunch break, closes at 3pm on Saturdays
• Dispensing, fitting and adjusting frames
• Stylizing will for part of the role and would be idea for someone who is enthusiastic about fashion and up to date with current trends
• Always have enough time to ensure patients receive a personalised service
• Must be able to maintain the high level of service & positive interactions with patients at a growing clinic.

Package and Benefits

• Full time 5 days a week with alternating Saturdays required
• Every second weekend off & on alternating weekends when a Saturday is worked
• Competitive basic salary ranging between 27,000 - 31,000 DOE
• No Sundays, Evenings or Bank Holidays
• Holiday allowance 28 days including bank holidays

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Open to optical assistance with 2 or more years' experience who have worked with varifocals & contact lens teaches in the past
• Open to newly qualified Dispensing Opticians 6 months or more experience preferred
• Dispensing Opticians must be GOC registered
• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Previous paediatric experience would be a highly valued
• UK drivers licence a must
