Optical Assistant

We are currently looking for an Optical Assistant to join an advanced independent practice based in Sleaford, Lincolnshire.

Optical Assistant - Role

• Modern, patient focused environment
• Working between 2 practice which are close by
• Part of a team of 3-5 people in each practice
• Continued investment into the business
• Loyal patient base
• Assisting the high quality team focussing on high levels of care
• Assisting with dispensing, pre-screening, adjustments, collections, reception and general admin
• Helping to run social media accounts
• 5 days a week including Saturdays
• Opening times from 9am to 5pm (3.30pm on a Sat)
• Salary between £23,000 to £25,000 depending on experience

Optical Assistant - Requirements

• Recent experience working within Opticians
• Independent experience would be advantageous
• Must be calm, comfortable and confident at all times when talking to patients
• Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
• Ability to learn and want to develop
