Branch Based Optical Assistant, full time, Bridgwater

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Optical Assistant to work in a patient focused leading independent practice where you can develop and expand on your current knowledge and skill set.

You will be joining a successful practice who pride themselves on offering a friendly and high quality service to all their patients to feel at ease and truly taken care of.

Equipped with state of the art equipment, this is a non pressurised role with emphasis on meaningful interactions with patients rather than high commercial pressure.

Key Duties

• Full time, Monday to Saturday with working hours are 9:00am to 17:00pm midweek and 09:am to 16:00pm on Saturdays
• Main duties include Pre-screening, dispensing, receiving clients and ordering stock
• Prior styling experience is advantageous
• Joining a team of experienced optical staff working to provide a varied and loyal patient base with exceptional patient care

Package and Benefits

• Competitive salary c. 24,000 negotiable depending on experience

• Quarterly salary reviews and annual practice performance bonus dependant on KPI's

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Prior experience as an Optical assistant essential with 1.5 - 2 years desired
• Right to work in the United Kingdom essential
• Will suite a commercially aware Optical assistant, great with patient interaction and experienced in dispensing
