Store location

The Greenock Specsavers store first opened its doors 32 years ago and has been an extremely well performing store ever since! It is situated within a busy shopping mall with high footfall and a premium spot near other national retail brands. The store boasts 6 optical test rooms and 1 dedicated hearcare space. The store has a wide-ranging patient demographic, existing EOS offering and an established team of resident clinicians and retail/management specialists.

The Greenock area itself offers an easy commute against the traffic to a scenic location which has undergone recent gentrification, including a new port making it a destination location for cruise ships and holiday makers!

The Greenock store is excited to be linking to a brand-new store in Port Glasgow later this year also! The new Port Glasgow store will be situated in a popular retail park and will further allow us to service the local populations eyecare needs more readily.

Requirements of the role

Alongside being a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion, and willingness to maintain the customer-focused culture and the high standards of this successful store. As the new Optometry Partner, you'll be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. you'll be able to build a rapport with the existing team, demonstrate excellent attention to detail and possess an ability to build strong relationships within the local community.

The right person for this position will possess a strong worth ethic, drive and a willingness to succeed. You will be a hands-on partner who understands the need to balance consistent time in the test room with your director and leadership responsibilities. you'll be passionate about your job and enjoy a fast-paced environment. you'll be willing to go the extra mile for customers and someone who encourages their team to do the same. In summary, you'll be a high calibre Optometry Partner able to put your stamp on this already excellent store and drive it to the next level.
