Optical Assistant Position

This is a full time Optical Assistant position working for one of the UK’s largest and most successful optical groups. This store is well established and busy with a mixed customer base and strong professional team in place.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

This is a shop floor based position where you will be offering customers frame and lens solutions to fit with their lifestyle and optical needs. You will dispense to all levels, conduct pre-screening and contact lens teaches as well as helping out in all areas of the practice as required.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

To apply for this position you will need to have at least 12 months of optical experience and you will have a strong personal skill set. You will have strong personal communication skills and the ability to make sales and offer excellent customer service. You will be looking for a long term opportunity and personal career development.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant.

On offer is very competitive salary of £24,000 + Bonuses + Benefits as well as the continued training opportunities and progression into management or dispensing optician positions.
