Major Healthcare is supporting one of Dorset’s elite specialist independent opticians located on the outskirts of Poole. They have won a number of awards for their truly bespoke, innovative and opulent eye care services.

We are looking to speak with Optometrists who are looking to join a team of optical professionals offering the highest standards of private eyecare. They are open to consider individuals interested in full or part time and offer a market leading salary and package with exclusive benefits.

This is a fantastic and very unique opportunity for an Optometrist to join an optical company that's extremely well invested, superbly equipped and has an established and very experienced team working together within a beautifully looking practice.

• Basic salary of up to £70,000 + exclusive benefits package
• 40 minute – 1 hour testing times, offering a truly bespoke eye care experience
• Their spacious rooms are equipped with modern and hi-tech equipment, and they use the latest innovative designs in spectacle lens technology and frame design           
• Equipment includes – OCT, Optomap, E-Eye IRPL, Valeda light delivery system, MPS II, Auto and manual Phoropters, Video Slit Lamps alongside a very efficient computerised management system
• The company run a large variety unique specialist services and clinics including – Specialist Dry eye and MGD services (Inc. E-Eye, Blephex, LipiView and LipiFlow), Dry AMD (age related macular degeneration) treatment, Myopia Management, Behavioural Optometry, Diabetic screening, Glaucoma & Cataract monitoring, Paediatrics eyecare, Hear care services and Specialist contact lenses Inc. Ortho-K
• Working with a wide range of designer and fashionable glasses with the ability to handpick the best frames and lenses for customers without having to be restricted to any one supplier
• 3 very spacious test rooms within a boutique, high-end setting and a spacious and beautifully presented working environment
• The practice has free all day parking available for staff and patients alike saving you money, time and stress in the mornings             
• You'll be only required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays, the practice is also closed Sundays and Bank Holidays, with no late nights as the practice closes at 5:30pm, offering a much better work life balance

Details and requirements

• Opening hours: Monday – Saturday (09:30am - 17:30pm)
• Only required to work 1 in 4 Saturdays
• Closed Sundays & Bank Holidays
• Full or part time position considered
• Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered

• Basic salary of up to £70,000
