Optometrist, Wandsworth, independent, basic up to 60,000 plus bonus, full time.

Having over 40 years' experience and a loyal customer base, our client prides themselves on delivering the highest standard of eye care possible and is searching for someone to uphold these same values, so providing a bespoke service with excellent customer service is of the uppermost importance.

To aid you with this exceptional patient care, our client offers extended test times of 40 minutes as well as modern equipment e.g. OCT, Visions 3800 Phoropter and digital records.

There are also many opportunities to develop your clinical skills with our client pushing their optometrists to get involved in specialist areas such as myopia control and to become glaucoma and MECS certified.

Key Duties

• Delivering sight tests to a high level of precision within 40 minute appointment times. Pre screens will normally be provided on your behalf by support team but may be times some flexibility is required to pre screen yourself as well
• Have an enthusiasm and willingness to learn and develop clinical skills operating in a relaxed patient focussed practice setting with full qualified Dispensing Optician support provided
• Be willing to operate as a sole Optometrist in the practice and willingness to offer some contact lens work is also required as thsi makes up roughly 20% of the role overall
• General working hours are 9:30-6:30Monday to Saturday with one hour lunch breaks. NB, The number of Saturdays required may potentially be negotiable to alternate Saturdays
