The Company

A very well-known and respected independent based in Aberdare are seeking an optometrist for their practice. Having been providing caring professional eye care since the late 1980’s, they have a great reputation in the area with a loyal patient base who speak very highly of their experiences there. In a recently refitted practice, they have created a clinical and enjoyable working environment for their employees whilst taking a huge amount of pride in the service they offer.

The Position

We are seeking a confident and friendly optometrist who can commit to either a full or part time position. You will be expected to provide an excellent and knowledgeable service with 25/30 minute testing times (pre-screen done for the optometrist) where you can build a strong rapport with each patient and uphold the excellent reputation they already have. In a very spacious practice that includes 2 testing rooms, 1 contact lens room, 1 pre screen room, in house glazing and a kitchen they have created a fantastic environment in a well run practice with everyone knowing their roles and responsibilities. Offering up to £65,000, bonus, pension, medical cover, GOC fees covered and more as well as a good work life balance with a flexible rota on hand.

The Location

The ideal location for the optometrist to be based is in Aberdare or it’s surrounding areas with a good travel links or a car.
