Experienced Lab Technician - Optics

Store: Southampton Specsavers

Hours: 37.50 hours a week to include regular weekends

Benefits: 25,000 per annum

Experience Previous optical lab experience is essential for this role

At Specsavers, our Laboratory Technicians use the latest computer-controlled equipment and an eye for detail & accuracy, allowing them to maintain high standards maximise customer satisfaction.

With your previous knowledge of an Optical Lab, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customers spectacle orders to the highest standard and be confident with the following responsibilities:

• Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received
• Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
• Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
• Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
