Position: Optometrist

Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire

Salary: Up to 65,000 pro rata per annum plus a performance bonus up to 8,000 depending on experience

Working hours: Part time 2 or 3 days per week with weekend flexibility

Experience level: This role is open to experienced Optometrists who are able to supervise and who are registered with the GOC

We are looking for an ambitious and talented Optometrist to join our highly successful store in Portsmouth. You will be working alongside a well-established and experienced team of optical professionals, including a Contact Lens Optician, Dispensing Optician, and fully trained Optical Assistants.

Specsavers in Portsmouth relocated to a brand-new premises in August 2023 meaning you will be working in an immaculate, fresh, and modern environment. The store boasts 7 test rooms all fully equipped with the latest clinical equipment including Nidek Phoropters in every room and an OCT.

What were looking for

Youll need to be a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist with the drive, passion, and the willingness to build upon our customer-focused culture. As part of our team, youll need to be able to provide a unique blend of customer care and professional excellence. Youll need to demonstrate good attention to detail along with a passion for the community. Teamwork also forms a big part of our culture, so the ability to work well with others is essential.
