We are currently working in partnership with a well-established and friendly independent Opticians based near Portsmouth, who are currently looking for an Optometrist to join their experienced team on a part-time basis.
This is a flexible role with part-time hours available purely based in the Portsmouth practice, or full-time hours can be discussed if you can cover a 2nd practice based near Southampton.
The practice and its sister practice has a superb reputation in their respective areas that has been accrued through many years of exceptional patient care and service, where test times are up to circa 45 minutes and there are unparalleled levels of flexibility with regards to products.
You will work closely alongside the practice owner who is a qualified Optician, alongside a highly experienced and friendly team which has exceptionally low staff turnover.
Additionally there is a lot of scope to tailor the practice as you want it to be run, with the owner very receptive to any changes you'd like to make to if desired.

Key Duties

• Part-time position with circa 3 days available
• Full-time role also available if you can work at a sister practice based in Southampton too
• Flexible days available
• 9am-5:30pm general working hours
• Test times up to 45 minutes
• Experienced and long-standing staff working in the practice

Package and Benefits

• Basic salary ranging from circa 50000 - 65000 pro-rata (depending upon experience)
• GOC, college and AOP fees paid
