Dispensing Optician Job, Gerrards Cross , base salary up to 38,000(DOE), Full Time.

Exclusive Dispensing Optician role Gerrards Cross, working with a superb highly successful team offering an engaging diverse job role with excellent working conditions, join their practice on a full time basis.

Based in the busy city of Gerrards Cross, this role is perfectly suited for applicants who enjoy a fast paced environment but are still patient focussed and are able to provide the highest level of patient care.

Typically a higher end practice dealing with a large selection of exclusive brands. The practice boasts the latest testing facilities including OCT and a loyal team of highly trained optical professionals many of who have already enjoyed great tenure within the business.

The practice working hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm with no Sunday work, must be open to working every Saturday.

Key Duties

• Work alongside a team of optical professionals
• Working 5 days a week with one weekend day required
• General working hours are 9:00-17:30 Monday - Saturday
• Dispensing to all levels
• Complex dispensing in multi focal and higher value vari focals
• Consistent patient communication and care
• Full time role at 37.5hours per week
• Managerial responsibilities are required

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Must be a Qualified Dispensing Optician on the GOC OR must have 5+ years of Optical Assistant experience
• Confident to dispense to all levels
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• Strong product knowledge including high end products and contact lenses
• The right to work in the UK
• Previous optics experience essential
• Managerial experience preferred but not essential
