Optical Assistant

I am currently working with a well-established and successful practice that is looking for an Optical Assistant. You will be working with a team of 10+ strong on a day-to-day basis with the support from higher management when needed.

This is a very good opportunity for an experienced Optical Assistant looking to develop their optical career and take on a more senior role. As well as supporting the team, you will also be doing dispensing and leading by example.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches.
This person is also required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on the best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

As a Optical Assistant within this practice, you will work on the shop floor in the dispensing team.
You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general troubleshooting.
As a member of the stores management team you will have a valued input to best practice and clinical compliance.

Mon – Sat 09:00am – 17:30pm and 09:00 – 17:00pm
