• Full time Optometrist position based near Harrow in a single fully independent and highly successful practice providing an ideal prospect for any passionate Optometrist to enjoy their work in a patient focussed high quality setting
• Test times are 30 minutes to ensure high levels of client care with pre-screens generally provided separately via the support team
• Opportunity to work in a beautifully presented two test room practice that offers latest testing facilities including OCT, Henson visual fields and phoropter
• Enjoy high levels of clinical freedom in your work and enjoy the option to recommend from top designers such as Tom Ford and Silhouette frames alongside Essilor and Hoya lenses to name but a few
• Our prestigious client already attracts a large number of clients keen to benefit from the practices specialist services in areas such as Myopia and would welcome applications from Optometrists with a keen interest to develop their professional skillset

Key Duties

• The successful applicant will need to be experienced in utilising OCT with strong IT skills as the practices offers a digital records and management system
• Working 5 days per week full time with Saturday working required every week as busy day for the practice with working hours 9am-530pm (40 hours per week FTE contract)
• Test confidently in 30 minute intervals serving generally more private client base with great clinical care and enthusiasm
• Must be willing to be a proactive member of the team and be flexible in your working practices when required to ensure patient needs are addressed as a priority

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Five years post qualified experience preferred with three years plus experience essential
• Able to commit to full time working including Saturdays
• GOC registered with right to work in the UK
• Confidence to work with OCT, digital records and generally have strong IT skills
• Team player with can do attitude
