Optometrist role Sandbach, full or part time, basic up to 60,000 plus bonus.

This is an exceptional role for a high patient care focussed Optometrist to join a professional, friendly and future focussed family run business near Sandbach.

Open to all levels of experience, this exclusive prospect offers options for full or part time working alongside negotiable Saturday working and no Sundays to ensure excellent work like balance.

In addition you will enjoy working with a varied but generally more affluent patient base with generous test times, state of art facilities including OCT and opportunity to develop as a clinician long term with support offered towards diabetic screening and Independent prescribing qualifications!

Key Duties

• Working on an employed basis three to five days per week. (FTE hours 37.5)
• General working hours are 9am-515pm with 45 minute lunch break
• Be a confident Optometrist who feels assured to work as sole tester if required and serve a more affluent patient with high level of personality and attention to detail
• Saturdays are an important aspect of the role but our client is flexible to consider one/two Saturdays off out of four and no Sundays required
• Able to test with high degree of quality in 30 minute intervals (pre-screens are provided on your behalf be excellent support team) and be willing to contribute some contact lens services as part of your weekly case load
• Genuine opportunity to offer additional specialist clinical services in areas such as diabetic screening, shared care and IP
• Work closely with a family run practice and enjoy the company of an aspiring team of quality minded & bubbly optics professionals!

Package and Benefits

• Salary negotiable 45,000-60,000 DOE plus reliable bonus scheme worth an additional 1,000-2,000 annually

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• All levels of experience welcome to apply as great support provided from family run business that already includes tenured qualified Optometrists but should be willing / able to test independently once inducted into the role
• GOC registered or eligible to register is only newly qualified / soon to qualify in the upcoming months
• Right to work in the UK required
