The Company

This company are one of the leading providers of Independent NHS hospital Eye Services and are seeking an optometrist for their established practice based in Ipswich. Offering a full range of eye services, they have a fantastic reputation across the UK and have become an extremely desirable company to work for. Working closely alongside GPs, hospitals and NHS commissioners, they offer a unique type of working environment that is not frequent in the optical industry!

The Position

We are seeking a strong and confident optometrist who can commit to a full time position. You must have a friendly personality where you will build a good rapport with your patients as well as the team in practice as you will be expected to provide an excellent and knowledgeable service. Offering many enhanced services in practice the more qualifications/ accreditations you have the more suited to the role as well as the better salary, although this is not a necessity as they are willing and happy to further your skills with funding of these courses. Offering a salary anything up to £73,000 plus many other benefits including extra holiday days up to 35 day annually!

The Location

The ideal location for the optometrist to be based is in Ipswich or it’s surrounding areas with good travel links or easy to drive to.
