A fantastic opportunity to join a well-established independent practice with really magnificent facilities in Shaftesbury.

This practice, which was founded over 90 years ago, is well-known for offering exceptional care and clinical expertise to all patients.

Optometrists have access to cutting-edge technology, including an OCT, Optomap and test times of 40 minutes, allowing them to take their time and offer patients with the best possible experience.

There are also potential for you to become involved in a variety of clinical services, since the practice already provides many specialist contact lens services and is happy to help your clinical growth in areas such as independent prescribing.

Key Duties

• Available to work three to five days per week (full-time equivalent hours: 37.5 hours per week).
• General working hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with the option of alternate weekend work and an early finish on Saturdays, allowing for a great work-life balance.
• The ideal candidate will have knowledge or experience with specialist contact lens services, although this is not required.
• The practice runs with two test rooms and test times of approximately forty minutes to ensure high levels of patient care at all times.
