We are looking to speak with Optometrists who are keen to work within a family run independent optical practice based in Ely, where every patient is seen as unique and where you’ll be able to provide bespoke solutions responsive to their needs.
The company’s practices are located across Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk and are all beautifully present, well invested with the latest technology and offer the greatest range of top-quality frames and high-tech lenses.
Key Advantages
- Basic salary of up to £70,000
- 45 minute – 1 hour testing times, allowing more time with patients to properly identify their needs
- Their spacious rooms are equipped with modern and hi-tech equipment, and they use the latest innovative designs in spectacle lens technology and frame design
- Equipment includes – OCT, Optomap, Auto Phoropter Heads, Visual Field Analysers alongside a very efficient computerised management system
- The company also run a variety unique specialist services and clinics including – Glaucoma & Cataract Screening, Paediatric eyecare, Specialist Myopia Management, Coloured Overlay Assessment, Low Vision Aids and Specialist Contact Lenses including Orthokeratology, they are also Sports Vision Specialists
- An unrivalled range of quality frames including the widest selection of designer frames and high-tech lenses
- 2 very spacious test rooms within a boutique, high-end setting and a spacious and beautifully presented working environment
- The teams are closely involved in the local community, running regular awareness days, events and presentations
- Closed Sundays, Bank Holidays, offering alternate Saturdays and no late nights as the practice closes at 5:30pm
- Being part of a highly qualified team that share an extensive understanding of optics enabling you to provide the greatest level of care
Details and requirements
- Opening hours: Monday – Saturday (09:00am - 17:30pm)
- Closed Sundays & Bank Holidays + alternate Saturdays available
- Full or part time position considered
- Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered
Salary and benefits
- Basic salary of up to £70,000
- Pension + professional fees
- 25 days holiday + 8 BH (33 in total)
