A well-known and desirable independent based in Cambridge are seeking an optometrist for their well established practice based in Cambridge. Having recently joined forces with another independent, this store has had a rebrand and newly refitted store so is very modern and aesthetically pleasing. With a loyal and regular patient base, they have a great reputation in the area and have expanded due to this. Selling higher end brands and products, they take a huge amount of pride in the service they provide and have created an extremely enjoyable working environment for all of their employees.
We are seeking a strong and confident optometrist who has a friendly personality and will be able to work well with the team as well as build a strong rapport with each patient. With a very flexible on hand, as they can offer part time or full time (minimum 3 days) as well as some great weekend flexibility for a better work life balance, as the know how important this is to their employees. It’s a very well equipped practice with all modern and up to date equipment including OCT, where you will have up to 1 hour to test each patient. Offering a salary up to £60,000 plus a very lucrative bonus scheme (up to £10,000 and is achievable!), plus many other benefits including GOC fees covered, pension, longer amount of holiday days and more!
The ideal location for the optometrist to be based is in Cambridge or it’s surrounding areas with good travel links or a car.
