Optical Assistant

Responsibilities

As an optical assistant you will be required to operate in an all-round role, helping patients with all their eye care needs, including contact lenses. You will be dispensing spectacles and lenses, undertaking pre screening, contact lens teaches and a variety of admin and computer work whilst offering support to fellow colleagues.

Requirements

You will need a minimum of 1 year experience working as an optical assistant having already had experience delivering contact lens teaches and dispensing frames and lenses. You must be able to demonstrate you are a natural when it comes to customer care, good people skills, have an organized approach and always happy to help. You will need to fit in as a valuable member of a friendly store team, joining a well-established successful busy business.
