Role: Domiciliary Optical Assistant

Location: Ideal candidates would live in the Bristol, South Bristol / Weston-Super-Mare

Salary: 23k plus a fully expensed company car and excellent bonus scheme (average bonus is 250 per month)

Working hours: Full Time (40 hours) Monday to Friday -8.30am to 5.30pm

Experience level: You MUST have previous optics experience and hold a valid driving license.

Due to extreme demand for our domiciliary services, we are actively recruiting for an additional Optical Assistant to join the talented team. It is safe to say that in carrying out a domiciliary role, you will ensure the delivery of a high-quality professional service, with high standards of dispensing and customer care in short, youll make sure every customer gets a great experience. The Directors are experienced, approachable and are keen to ensure staff are looked after well.

In this position you will be out and about in the community, driving across the regions noted above. Your main responsibility will be to provide support to the Optometrist when visiting patients in their own homes. This will include setting up testing equipment, carrying out handovers with the optometrist and being able to provide a personalised dispensing service to each patient you meet. Customer care is high on our agenda, so you must love optics and love dealing with the more vulnerable customers.
