Superb New Independent Optometrist Position based near Elephant and Castle, South London offering fantastic progression opportunities and generous base salary up to 65,000.

A fantastic fast growing independent practice is in the lookout for an Optometrist to join their practice based near Elephant and Castle on a full or part time basis.

With 2 test rooms in the practice, this role will be a mostly single testing role with regular eye testing being the main responsibility and limited contact lens work.

This practice also offers many progression opportunities being involved with overseas charity work and operating MECS clinics. The Director is also very pro development and encouraging of developing clinical skills. They have also recently put 3 staff members through a dispensing course and can support with any further accreditations the Optometrist is interested in including independent prescribing!

Trademarked only 2 years ago, this fast growing small independent group has grown to multiple sites and offers partnership opportunities in future for those looking to progress to becoming a partner.

This practice also has a sister practice based in South East London with 5 test rooms if you're looking for a larger practice with a bigger team or if you're a newly qualified Optometrist looking to gain some more experience.

Key Duties

• Testing eyes to 20 minutes with pre-screening completed beforehand
• General working hours 10am - 6pm with a 30 minute lunch break Monday - Saturday with an early finish and late start on Sunday
• Flexible shift patterns Monday - Sunday
• Available to work a minimum of 3 days a week
• Access to latest equipment including phoropter, fundus camera, and a soon to be added OCT
