My client is looking for a pro-active, self motivated and enthusiastic individual to match the ambition of this young, dynamic company and someone keen to put their stamp on this valuable role.
An interest in sport would be an added benefit to the role, but not essential.

The owner of the business prides themselves on offering outstanding customer service, so an individual with a confident, outgoing persona is essential in dealing with optical enquiries in person, via email or telephone.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work alongside colleagues and suppliers to develop and build new product areas.

Up to £30,000
NO WEEKENDS – Mon to Fri 8:30 to 5pm

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

” Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC.
” Keen interest in sport (Not essential)
” Must be IT savvy and computer literate
” Commercial awareness and customer focused.
” Quick learner – apply existing knowledge to this specialist area of optics.
” Pro-active and self motivated.
” Knowledge of wraparound technology, including free-form and compensated powers.
” Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
” Trustworthy and loyal.

Compensation of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

” £30,000 Basic salary
” Monday to Friday – 37.5 hr week
” 21 days holiday + Bank Holidays
” 1 free pair of glasses every year
” Friends & Family discounts

Full or part time considered
