Job Details
Optical sales and eyewear sales role in the South East. Zest Optical Sales Recruitment are working in partnership with an established optical frame supplier who are looking to recruit an Area Account Manager for a full time vacancy. An exciting opportunity has arisen to sell the company's eyewear brands to optical retailers in the South East territory. Having been well established in the UK the business has seen considerable growth and continued successes due to their brand portfolio and entrepreneurial creativity in taking these products to market.
You will be responsible for delivering sales targets against budget by promoting their optical frames to a range of clients. These clients will consist of high street optical retailers, who will be a mix of existing accounts and new business. The role will involve the detailing of new products and marketing initiatives to the account base, negotiation of pricing within agreed company guidelines and ensuring an effective marketing plan is developed. Candidates with sales backgrounds in either optical or sunglasses sales will be considered.
Knowledge, Skill and Experience required:
- A passionate and loyal sales professional with ideally a track record of successful territory management.
- The most important skills required are concerned with your character, self-motivation, team-working, prioritisation (management of diverse tasks), ability to work under pressure, effective time management and organisation, customer-focus and the willingness to take ownership of projects.
- Management skills required are concerned with confidently championing the clients values and maintaining a customer focus
- The most important attributes required include proactivity, enthusiasm, commitment, an orientation towards achieving results/fulfilling objectives and having the drive to succeed in all areas
This is an excellent opportunity to build a legacy on this territory which has some current strong clients and a well established client base to work on, you will receive full support and training (classroom and field) to ensure that you have all the necessary tools to succeed. You will be rewarded with an attractive package: Basic salary (32k) + commission + Bonus + Car Allowance and a range of additional benefits.
