A friendly and successful independent practice based in Tadley are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Optical Assistant to join their team.

The practice has been providing exceptional eye care services to the local community for over 20 years and are now looking for a candidate who is passionate about eyewear and social media to join the team.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming and greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Advising and guiding customers on eyewear products and services, taking accurate measurements and processing orders
• Assisting the Optometrist in eye testing and contact lens appointments
• Managing customer databases and records accurately
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
• Developing and managing social media campaigns to promote the business and grow online presence

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an Optical Assistant is strongly desired
• A strong interest in developing and managing social media accounts for the business
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Organised and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• A team player with a positive attitude
