We are supporting a multi award winning independent Opticians who are looking to employ a new Dispensing Optician in Haverhill.
This is a great opportunity to work within an independently owned company that believes in fostering close relationships to build trust that clearly reflects in their service to customers.
The practice is a local family-oriented opticians with a strong fashion sense and a forward-thinking attitude. They have won many national awards and are considered one of the best independent opticians in the area.
Key Advantages
- Up to £36,000 basic salary + quarterly bonus
- 30–45-minute testing times, offering more time with patients to truly understand their needs
- Weekend flexibility possible and, when working Saturdays, the practice only opens half a day
- Continuous advances in technology and equipment including OCT, Optomap alongside a very efficient computerised management system
- Offering specialist services including - Glaucoma monitoring, Dry eye clinics, Colorimetry & Visual Stress, Specialist Contact Lenses and Hear care services
- Every year the Manager will take selected colleagues visit London, Milan and Paris trade shows to see what next season's eyewear has to offer and to hand edit the selection
- The practice is stunning with 2 spacious test rooms and a beautifully presented dispensing area
- A truly patient focused clinical environment with a commercial sales pressure

Details and requirements
- Opening hours: Monday - Friday (09:00am - 17:00pm) Saturday (09:00am - 13:00pm)
- Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays (Weekend flexibility available)
- Full or part time position considered
- Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered
Salary and benefits
- Up to £36,000 (depending on experience) + quarterly bonus structure
- Professional fees + Pension
- 20 days holiday + 8 BH (28 in total) - but the practice will close over Christmas Holidays
