Optometrist Position

As a very clinically driven, customer focussed practice, they require a strong sense of professionalism as well as a good sense of humour as they are a small but close-knit team.

Bearing in mind that it is a business a certain amount of commerciality is also required.
*Ideal applicants would have a passion for optics and not just for it to a job!

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

In this role, you will provide excellence in clinical care to your patients and work as part of a small team. You will be responsible for providing eye tests to 40-minute intervals.

Requirements of the Optometrist

To apply for this position, you will need to be in possession of a full and up to date GOC registration and up to date with all CET requirements.

You will be first and foremost a team player and secondly a consummate professional. You will have a successful career to date and be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills, knowledge, and expertise in your field.

Monday – Friday – 09:00 – 17:30
Saturday – 09:00 – 17:00
Sunday – Closed

Compensation for the Optometrist

5 days a week – 37.5 hours (no Sundays, bank holidays or late-night opening)
” £55,000 – £60,000 salary depending on experience
” 33 days holiday (includes bank holidays) in a complete holiday year (Dec-Nov)
” Company pension
” GOC & AOP annual fees covered
All professional fees are paid including GOC & AOP fees.
