Optical Lab Technician

A very exciting opportunity has become available for a Technician to work within a established Glazing manufacturer in the West Midlands.

YOU MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEARS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE

Duties include:
– To make and fit lenses to all frames
– Lens Picking
– Marking up using a Focimeter
– Lens blocking
– Machining
– Skimming & Fitting

The successful Candidate will:
– Have at least one years experience in a similar role
– Be able to work well under pressure
– Be able to work on your own and the ability to prioritise workloads

Desirable:
– Capable of using a Focimeter

Normal working hours are 8:30am to 5pm *MONDAY TO FRIDAY* and depending on your experience and skills our client is offering up to £21,000.

At the moment our client has a small team of glazers who are producing 200 jobs per day, supplying to more than 40 stores.
