Major Healthcare is current working with one of Surreys leading local family run independent opticians, with over 15 years of experience in providing high-quality, professional healthcare services to the community.
We are looking to speak with Dispensing Opticians who are interested in full or part time, live within a good commutable distance to their practice South of Guildford and who want to work with a company that insist on offering patients unbeatable standards of care and guarantee their patients will experience a truly bespoke eyecare service.
They are proud to be able to offer more unique specialised services with brand new, state of the art equipment to provide the highest levels of clinical care to all their customers.
Key Advantages
- Salary of up to £38,000 + benefits
- 45 minute – 1 hour testing times, spending that extra time to gain a greater understanding of patients concerns, needs and lifestyles
- Working with a wide range of designer and fashionable glasses with the ability to handpick the best frames and lenses for customers without having to be restricted to any one supplier
- Offering the latest diagnostic equipment and the latest technological advances in contact lenses, including - OCT, Oculus service analyser, Optomap alongside an efficient computerised management system
- The company offer unique specialist services including - E-eye (Infrared Dry eye treatment), Blephex, Colorimetry & Visual Stress, Dry Eye Clinics and Specialist contact lenses
- 2 very spacious test rooms within a relaxed, high-end setting and a spacious and beautifully presented working environment with no commercial pressure
- Closed Sundays & Bank Holidays with no late nights as the practice closes at 5:00pm
- Your day-to-day work will be varied and allow you to have more of a voice and become involved in training, marketing and business development
- Being part of a friendly, close-knit team of experienced optical professionals who have worked together for years and are all passionate about optometry
Details and requirements
- Hours: Monday – Friday (09:00am - 17:00pm) Saturday (9:00am – 16:00pm)
- Closed Sundays & Bank Holidays
- Full or part time position (Considered)
- Eligibility to work in the UK and GOC Registered
Salary and benefits
- Basic salary of up to £38,000
- Pension + professional fees
- 20 days holiday + 8 BH (28 in total)
