My client is looking for an experienced Qualified Dispensing Optician with experience of working in a busy environment who can make a difference with their dispensing abilities and mentoring skills.
The practice was recently refitted and has a moderne look along with all the latest equipment.

Qualified Dispensing Position

This is a permanent full-time position working within one of the most trusted optical brands in the UK. This practice is well established with a long-standing and loyal customer base which has shown strong growth over the last year even with the present issues taken in to consideration. The store is modern and well equipped and is located in a quiet centre. They offer all services including MECS and are the optician of choice in the local community.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

Your role will be to work as one of the lead dispensers within the practice. You will handle the majority of children’s and complex dispensing and you will use your expertise and clinical experience to troubleshoot and deal with any issues as they arise. As a senior member of the team, you will help junior members of the team and help them to stay up to date with the latest optical developments.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

To apply for this position you need to be a fully qualified Dispensing Optician who is registered with the GOC. You will be an outgoing and approachable person with excellent communication skills and the ability to think on your feet and solve problems and offer solutions for your customers. There is responsibility that comes with this role* and a requirement is for any applicants to have experience of working in a busy, high volume medium to large practice.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

On offer for your experience is a salary of £31,000 as well as both, a team and an individual bonus scheme (Approx £2k per annum) as well as other benefits?
