Dispensing Optician

We are currently working alongside a well-established independent practice in Bury, Greater Manchester to recruit a Dispensing Optician to their growing team.

This is an outstanding opportunity to join a lovely practice which holds a great reputation for offering the highest levels of service in a relaxed, friendly environment.

Dispensing Optician - Role

• Independent Opticians which has been in the area for 70 years
• Clinically focused practice
• Directors who are constantly investing and developing the practice
• 4 testing rooms
• Working as the sole Dispensing Optician with an experienced support team
• Huge selection of designer eyewear - Rayban, Jimmy Choo, Kate Spade, Tiffany
• Accounts with most lens suppliers - Essilor, Zeiss and Hoya
• Ensure top levels of customer service
• Ordering items from suppliers as required
• Helping train the support team
• Working 5 days a week including a Sat
• Working hours are between 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Basic salary between £27,000 - £30,000 Plus bonus
• Professional fees paid
• 25 days holiday plus bank hols

Dispensing Optician - Requirements

• Qualified Dispensing Optician registered with the GOC
• Friendly and approachable
• Digitally savvy
• Maintain the high level of customer care expected by patients of the practice
• Ability to learn and want to develop
