This is medium-sized optician in the South Stockport area are a well-established and well known Opticians, with a presence in nearly every town and city in the country are now looking to add an Optical Practice Manager to their team.

Optical Practice Manager Position

As the Optical Practice Manager, you will be the driving force of the business, leading by example and inspiring staff. You will help to lead a busy team of 7-8 people on a daily basis, whilst managing the whole of the business.

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

Your role will be to help lead the team from the front. You will be on the shop floor making sales and coaching your teams and ensuring customer service standards are maintained. You will occasionally be involved in all optical duties such as dispensing but primarily be offering advice, managing staff, troubleshooting, rota management, KPI’s, P&L, and dealing with all of the day to day duties.

Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager

You must have 12 months experience as a manager within an opticans and be comfortable in a senior role with full autonomy in the role as the Director will rarely be available to assist on a day-to-day basis.
You will have a confident and up-beat personality with a strong people and management skill set along with a willingness to succeed.
You will be ambitious and hardworking and willing to take on additional responsibilities.
