Here is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Qualified Optical Practice Manager with a proven record of accomplishment to take on a well-established and busy practice in the Cannock Chase area.
Your role will be in charge of increasing operating profit, managing a small yet self-sufficient team, being involved with HR but will also require you to take on of dispensing, getting involved and being part of the team on the shop floor.
You will ensure everyone is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to do a truly great job. The team are very well established and self sufficient, leaving you free to concentrate on what matters most – delivering the highest standards of professionalism and growing the business.
Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager
The combined role will mean you are accountable for the KPI’s and driving the business forward. You will coach and train colleagues and be heavily involved in the commercial development too, which means bringing great new ideas and initiatives, as well as, marketing your practice effectively to ensure sales soar.
Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager
Ideally, you have experience in similar busy opticians and is essential you already have a proven record of accomplishment in management growing a business year on year
Must be comfortable to make decisions and to work off your own initiative.
You will have a friendly and personable demeanour and a strong personal work ethic, with customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
You will have experience in taking on an all-round role managing a team, setting and working towards target, providing training and development, keeping track of the performance of the business as well as being on the shop floor leading from the front.
Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager
My client has a competitive salary basic of up to £28,000 with a good bonus structure in place and additions to enhance your OTE.
