Experienced Lab Technician

Location: Southend On Sea, Essex.

Salary: Depending on experience

Working hours: Full Time and Part Time ( 30 hours per week) Weekend work is essential

Experience level: Previous Optical Lab experience is essential for this role

At Specsavers, our Laboratory Technicians use the latest computer-controlled equipment and an eye for detail & accuracy, allowing them to maintain high standards maximise customer satisfaction.

With your previous knowledge of an Optical Lab, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customers spectacle orders to the highest standard and be confident with the following responsibilities:

Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received
Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
