This optician group are fast becoming a recognisable brand in the UK, with their steady growth of additions to their portfolio.
They are now opening a funky boutique in the heart of the Cambridge area and looking for an experienced manager to take the reins of the latest edition.
You will be working with a small team and will expect to provide excellent customer service while working towards targets and offering any support to fellow colleagues.

Optical Practice Manager

They require an experienced practice manager to drive the business forward with this small tea. This single test room practice will aim to run clinics across the week with growth as strong of their other practices. The company have already gained a strong reputation for quality and service and look to continue in the same vein with this new practice.

This practice is a part of one of the up-and-coming brands to hit the UK in a while and as such have a lot to aspire to but do carry strong credentials.
They are ECO conscious and create and manufacture their own frames with some pretty funky designs to boot!
All practices are 100% green with the materials they use for their product range is either bio-degradable or recyclable.

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

You will have previous or present experience of working in a managerial role and used to the optical environment. You will be managing the day to day operations with emphasis on the business side of things. You will be a manager first and a dispenser secondly, as the role requires you to take responsibility of recruitment needs /staffing levels including rotas, forward planning and driving the targets and KPI’s to maximise efficiency of the performance.

Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager

Optical experience is essential for this role with an outgoing and bubbly disposition as well as excellent communication skills and a foresight to recognise an opportunity. You will also have strong communication skills to converse with both clients and colleagues alike. Ideally you will have an understanding of KPIs and managing goals and targets. Finally, you will be responsible for recruitment and staff appraisals with emphasis on managing expectations of the team and succession planning.

Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager

On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of up to £33,000
As well as this you will also have the opportunity to further your career.
You will have 28 days holiday.
