Optical Assistant

This client are one of the most recognisable opticians in the UK being established for over 80 years with nearly 200 practices and still growing. They are now looking for an Optical Assistant to join one of their busy practices in Fleetwood area. You will be working with a small team and you will expected to provide excellent customer service while working towards targets and offering any support to fellow colleagues.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

You will work within a busy practice in an all around role. You will be helping patients with all their eye and hearing care needs, including contact lenses, designer frames, NHS eye care and hearing health checks. You will be dispensing spectacles and making sales as well as undertaking pre-screening, contact lens teaches and associated admin work.

Requirements for the Optical Assistant

You will need a minimum of 1 years experience as an Optical Assistant and it’s essential you can dispense spectacles to all levels. You will be pre-screening patients, delivering contact lens teaches and will be very focussed on delivering the highest levels of customer service.
Desirable if applicants for this role are able to drive

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of up to £20,000 as well as a generous bonus scheme and the opportunity to further your career. You will have 28 days holiday. NO Sundays
Working hours are 9:00am – 5:30pm Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week
