Practice Manager

The successful candidate will place a clear value on the patient experience, the needs of the business and will be the driving force of the business, leading by example and inspiring staff with confidence. They will have a proven ability to solve problems whether these are related to optics, the business or operations. They will help to lead and build through through recruitment, a team capable of delivering our vision on a daily basis, whilst managing the whole of the business..

The store is a high end and stylish practice that works with high end designers e.g. Tom Ford, Rayban.

Possess the insights to identify failings in the business and be proactive in solving them without needing the input of senior management where appropriate.

Have proven experience in acquiring and deploying staff through informed recruitment.

Have a strong set of interpersonal skills to inspire staff while holding them to the standards the business expects and leading by example.

Be fully aware of the commitment and drive required to provide the level of customer satisfaction at one of our flagship practices.

Help lead the team from the front by being on the shop floor making sales and coaching where required.

Be involved in all optical duties such as dispensing, offering advice, managing staff, troubleshooting, rota management, KPI’s, P&L, and dealing with all of the day to day duties.

Will have 12 months minimum experience as a manager of a practice running two or more sight test clinics be comfortable in a senior role with full autonomy in the role as the Director will not be available to assist on a day-to-day basis.

Will report to the operations manager who can offer support remotely.

Will have a confident and up-beat personality with a “glass half full” attitude and a willingness to succeed.

Will be ambitious and hardworking and willing to take on additional responsibilities.

For their efforts, a competitive salary of £30,000- £35,000 dependant on your experience and clinical qualifications is on offer, along with a competitive bonus scheme. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment. This is a full time role.

With no Sundays and working day of 9.00am- 5.30pm
