Pre-Reg Optometrist

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Pre Reg Optometrist to join a leading name in the UK optics field. This practice is well-established and has a great reputation as well as a loyal patient base. They have recently had a refit adding a 2nd test room and updating the look of the practice to keep with modern day standards. As the practice is becoming busier they are looking for a Pre-reg Optometrist to join their team.

Supported by two resident Optometrists and several Dispensing Opticians.
Salary to be negotiated on capability and experience – Up to £24k
Full time – 9:00 to 5:30 Monday to Saturday with a day off in the week.
Excellent working environment – not rushed and focus on quality rather than quantity.

Optometrist Position

This practice in the Beaconsfield area are getting busier and as a result are looking to recruit a full time pre-reg Optometrist on a permanent basis. This company offer a comprehensive sight test in a bright and clean test room, where you will be supported by an experienced Optometrist, Dispensing Opticians and a team of trained Optical Assistants.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

You will work closely with an experienced resident Optometrist to learn and develop your clinical skill set. With a broad range of patients, you will be fully exposed to wide range of patients requirements, further enhancing your knowledge.
Testing ideally to 30-mins, pre-screening done for you by support staff.
Using modern equipment – trial frames and OCT.

Requirements of the Optometrist

To apply for this position, you will need to be studying towards your Optometrist degree. You will be able to offer a balance between clinical and commercial aspects to your role. You will be able to demonstrate great interpersonal skills, knowledge, and a clear understanding of how you could drive sales.

In return for all your hard work my client will continually aim to invest in you and the team, ensuring that you are able to develop and pursue any professional interests, allowing you to provide an excellent customer service.

Up to £24,000 basic salary plus bonus
