Opening hours: Tue – Fri: 9.30am – 5.30pm & Sat: 9.30am – 4.00pm

Optical Assistant Position

A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused optical assistant who is looking for something a little different.
The owner has built up a strong reputation for being the optician of choice with their discerning clientele with their quality and customer service and now have an opening for someone like minded to continue to deliver to the highest standards.

You will be joining a very experienced Optometrist Owner who does on average 4-5 tests per day and the majority of the dispensing, purely for continuity for the client.

Responsibilities & Requirements of the Optical Assistant

The role will entail occasionally dispensing to all levels, although the major part of your role will be on the admin side. You will carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options as well as merchandising. Reception duties must be of the highest standard with both written and verbal communication of the highest standard.
They will not consider anyone with less than five years’ experience in an independent due to the level of service offered.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

A competitive salary from £20,000 basic with 25 days holidays inclusive of Bank Holidays.
