Optical Lab Technician

Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: Up to 10.50 an hour, depending on experience, plus bonus!
Working hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours (Weekend work is essential)
Experience level:Previous experience working in an optical lab is essential for this role

At Specsavers, our Laboratory Technicians use the latest computer-controlled equipment and an eye for detail & accuracy, allowing them to maintain high standards maximise customer satisfaction.

With your previous knowledge of an Optical Lab, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customers spectacle orders to the highest standard and be confident with the following responsibilities:

• Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received
• Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
• Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
• Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
