Optical Assistant Position

This is a very exciting time for this practice that is now looking for a full time experienced optical assistant to work within an independent environment. They are situated in a busy location with good footfall and family friendly working hours of Monday to Saturday 9-5.30. The company offers a wide selection of high end frames and lenses as well as the budget end of the market.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role requires you to be able to dispense to all levels, contact lens teach and pre-screen as well as being competent in all other roles including reception and diary management.
You will be dispensing spectacles and making sales as well as undertaking pre-screening, contact lens teaches and associated admin work.

Requirements for the Optical Assistant

You will need a minimum of 1 years experience as an Optical Assistant and it is essential you dispense spectacles to all levels and ideally have worked within an independent. You will be pre-screening patients, delivering contact lens teaches and will be very focussed on delivering the highest levels of customer service.
*You must be available to work on Saturdays.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of up to £19,000 plus bonus and the opportunity to further your career for the right candidate onto the managerial path. You will have 28 days holiday
