I am working with one of the UK’s most recognisable brands who are now recruiting for a qualified dispensing optician to join a customer focussed practice in a prime location and having in place a strong professionally driven team.
This practice is situated in a busy shopping area with strong footfall and can boast a very strong and loyal patronage with a good mix of private and NHS patients. They have a very friendly and patient focused team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of care possible and they have a very good local reputation for excellence in customer care.

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

You will be someone who enjoys the challenge and is open to being a mentor to the dispensing team to ensure the service available is maintained as well as using your expertise to assist in the targets being met on a weekly and monthly basis.
A part of your role will be to help with the smooth running of the practice on a day to day basis and as such the team members may report to you for daily tasks and guidance.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

At least 1 years of experience as a Qualified Dispensing Optician ideally within a busy practice is preferred although not essential as it all about your willingness to succeed. The ability to dispense to all levels with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

For your valued expertise my client is offering a competitive salary of up to £40,000 basic including a bonus scheme and additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
