Practice Manager Position

A very exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Manager to join a high-end independent chain in one of their practices in Chorley. Established over 70 years ago, this client has an unrivaled reputation across the North West. The company offers a bespoke selection of high-end products and services. They operate an open-ear policy and they’re looking for someone with the drive and ambition to take their career and this practice to the next level. Responsibilities of the Practice Manager Position

The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on their options. More importantly, you will guide your team to be the best they can be, working with a group of four-six experienced Optical Assistants, two resident Optometrist, and a Qualified Dispensing Optician. You will be on hand to support and motivate the team towards targets and KPI’s.

Requirements of the Practice Manager Position

My client is looking for applicants with strong with dispensing knowledge and with a flair for fashion. Ideally, you will have previous Management experience or a minimum of supervisory or team leader experience and be confident to troubleshoot any problems on the shop floor. You will have a friendly and personable demeanour with a strong personal work ethic. You must have a customer-focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues.

Compensation for the Practice Manager Position

For your efforts, a competitive salary of £35,000 is on offer + bonus and store discounts. You will be required to work Monday – Friday 9:00-5:30 and Saturday a half day. You will have 25 days holiday, plus 8 bank Holiday. You will also have the opportunity to receive on-going training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
