Optical Assistant Position

A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focussed and sales driven person who is looking for a full time career move with a market leading optical group.
You will be working in a practice in the Nottingham area.
This particular company have built up a strong reputation for quality and customer service and now have an opening for someone like minded to continue to deliver to the highest standards.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

The role is to dispense glasses to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

My client is looking for applicants with at least experience of how it works in an opticians and is happy to give full training to someone who has not been given the opportunity. The ability to dispense to all levels is desirable, but full training can be given, with a bubbly and outgoing personality. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
