They are very proud to own the award-winning Heidelberg, Spectralis OCT (3D retinal scanner) where they can now do detailed 3D scans of the back of your eye which can highlight otherwise undetectable visual conditions such as Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma.

All their practices are equipped to take retinal photos for any patients including those who need their annual diabetic check and all practices have field screening machines which are used to detect the early signs of glaucoma.
They also offer specialist Dry eye, Orthoptic and minor eye conditions assessments which are usually only available through referral to hospital services or GP.

They are looking for a full-time, five-day-per-week optometrist, to include Saturdays, to work in one of their practices.

The role will entail delivering the highest standard of service with all pre-tests completed by the professional dispensing team which consists of mainly qualified dispensing opticians and the emphasis on the customer journey and offering your expert advice and guiding them through the selection process for lenses.
The client is looking for someone who has experience in a similar environment and is happy to take on responsibility for professional and accurate handovers.

Requirements of the Optometrist

They are looking for a full-time, five-day-per-week optometrist, to include Saturdays, to work in one of their practices.

Opening Times are:
Mon-Fri 9am- 5:30pm
Sat 9am- 5pm
Sundays and Bank Holidays (except Good Friday) Closed
Please note we are always closed the Tuesday after Easter Monday as open on Good Friday.
