Experienced Lab Technician, Full time inc weekend work

*Wage depending on experience but starting around 19500/20000

*Following probation added to Specsavers Perks Plus and staff discount

*Hours worked between 8:30-6:30 Mon Fri, 8:30 5:00 Sat, 9:00 - 5:00 Sun

*Near by all day car park 10/15 minutes from store. Around 5 per day but employee can buy a permit to reduce costs

*Lab is part of the Medway group of stores (Chatham & Gillingham). Although owned by Chatham, the lab is on Gillingham high street, large lab glazing for 10 Specsavers. Opportunity to have career development.

Previous Optical experience is essential for this role

At Specsavers, our Laboratory Technicians use the latest computer-controlled equipment and an eye for detail & accuracy, allowing them to maintain high standards maximise customer satisfaction.

With your previous knowledge of an Optical Lab, you will be part of a team responsible for preparing customers spectacle orders to the highest standard and be confident with the following responsibilities:

• Accurately reading lens and frame specifications from prescriptions that are received
• Setting and glazing lenses into frames ensuring attention to detail at all times
• Complete necessary minor repairs and adjustments
• Working towards agreed timeframes to meet customer expectations
