We are passionate about the clinical development of our team, and as our new Optometrist, we would support you with extra courses and specialisms that interest you. Whatever your ambitions, from WOPEC qualifications and independent prescribing to paediatric accreditations or enhanced optical services, well do everything we can to help you be the best clinician you can be.

Our Optometrists are an integral part of our store management team, so were keen to get you up to speed outside the test room too. With ILM courses, Pre-Reg supervision and the Specsavers Partnership scheme (Pathway) all available to explore. Along with your clinical expertise this will stand you in good stead if you choose to become a store director yourself one day.

Were fully equipped with 10 test rooms, the latest clinical technology (including OCT), and a team of around 70 which includes fully trained optical assistants, so everything is in place to let you focus on what you do best.
Our store is fully-equipped with the latest clinical technology (including OCT). We offer enhanced clinical services including: cataracts appointments, glaucoma testing, diabetic screening and low vision clinics, and have strong links with the local hospital and CCG. We always aim to be the very best we can be both clinically and in terms of customer service. Our experienced, diverse and friendly team are always on hand to offer support and take care of patients needs, meaning that as our new Optometrist, you can focus on offering a first-class sight test to our loyal customers.
