Part Time Optometrist role, Halifax, West Yorkshire, independent practice, base salary up to 60,000, part time three to four days per week

Exclusive Optometrist role Halifax open for all levels of experience working at a well-established independent practice offering a client focused job role with generous remuneration.

Working in this affluent area of Yorkshire, our client gears you towards providing exceptional and outstanding care available to a wide variety of patients. To assist you with achieving this high level of diligence, our client offers testing times of up to 40 minutes, as well as the latest testing equipment and products including OCT and Variflux 4D lenses to cover all levels of meticulousness.

This is an exceedingly sought out role for those with a high clinical interest due to the prospects for further qualifications such as Independent Prescribing which our client is happy to support.

With the new addition of a Topcon Myah Instrument this month, there are opportunities to go into Myopia Control or Dry eye clinics.

Your day-to-day activities will be to deliver eye tests in a personalised manner to ensure high customer satisfaction and to work alongside a small but expanding team for the smooth running of the practice.

Key Duties

• An Optometrist role requiring clinical expertise to provide thorough testing and high levels of customer service working three to four days per week
• Should be confident to work at times as sole Optometrist but rest assured excellent support from tenured qualified support team and Optometrist business owner
• You will need to be available to work Saturdays with maximum requirements alternate Saturdays with an earlier finish 430pm provided to enable superb work life balance
• Mid-week days are flexible with general working hours 9am to 515pm alongside 2/3 weekdays which are open to negotiation an
• Offer high levels of personalised patient care with extended test times 40 minutes (pre screen provided on behalf of the Optometrist)

Key Skills, Qualifications and Client Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills with real passion for customer care
• Qualified Optometrist with all levels of experience considered if GOC registered/soon to be eligible to register
• Right to work in the UK required
